TAMISEMI Selection Form Five 2025 to 2026 (Form Five Selection), Selform MIS is an online system developed by the Tanzanian government through TAMISEMI to manage the selection and placement of students into Form Five and middle-level colleges. It was introduced to make the process faster, fairer, and more efficient through a digital platform.
Certificate of Secondary Education Examination(CSEE) aim to identify students with the capacity to proceed to the advanced secondary school level or join training institutions.
A holder of CSEE is expected to be able to apply their knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation skills in a broad range of activities.
All students selected advanced secondary school level sit for Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE), this is an assessment test offered to candidates who have completed two years of advanced level secondary education and have at least three credits in their CSEE.
The subjects examined at ACSEE include: General Studies, which is compulsory for all. Other subjects depend on the subject that someone is taking, i.e., in natural science the combinations are: PCM- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, PCB-Physics Chemistry and Biology, PGM-Physics Geography and Mathematics, EGM-Economics, Geography and Mathematics,
CBG-Chemistry, Biology and Geography, CBA-Chemistry, Biology and Agriculture, and CBN Chemistry, Biology and Food and Human Nutrition.
The Arts Combinations include History, Geography and English Language (HGL), History, Geography and Kiswahili (HGK), History, Kiswahili and English Language (HKL), Kiswahili, English Language and French (KLF), Economics, Commerce and Accountancy (ECA) and History, Geography and Economics (HGE).
The objectives of this examination are: to assess the learners’ knowledge and ability to pursue further education such as diploma and degree courses; to determine the extent to which the learners can use the skills gained to solve social, political, economic and technological challenges for their individual development and for national development at large.
Therefore, candidates at this level are expected to demonstrate mastery of the learned skills at various cognitive levels in a broad range of activities: knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation.

Eligibility Criteria for TAMISEMI Form Five Selection 2026
The TAMISEMI Form Five Selection 2026 process follows official academic guidelines. To qualify, a student must:
Obtain at least three Credit passes (A, B, or C) in non-religious subjects.
Score a total of 25 points or below in seven subjects.
Obtain between 3 and 10 points in combination subjects, without an “F” in a core subject.
Have completed lower secondary education under a recognized system.
For foreign qualifications, have results verified by the Tanzania Examinations Council.
These criteria ensure fair and merit-based placement into Form Five schools and technical institutions.
The President’s Office – TAMISEMI has officially released the list of students selected to join Form Five for the 2025/2026 academic year.
This selection has been made based on the results of the National Form Four Examination (CSEE) and other important criteria such as school placements, student choice, and their performance.
