New Vacancies at CCBRT May 2026, Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) aims to be the preferred provider of accessible specialized health services in Africa and serves – as healthcare social enterprise and through development programmes – the community and
the most vulnerable. CCBRT is Tanzania’s largest local provider of disability and rehabilitation services in the country.

We prevent lifelong disabilities wherever possible, and are therefore also engaged in extensive
maternal and newborn healthcare (MNHC) activities including obstetric fistula repairs.

Our Maternity and Newborn Wing serves as a referral centre for high risk and emergency deliveries in the region of Dar es Salaam and the Eastern Zone of Tanzania.

1: Vacancy: IT & Data Support Officer

The role

The IT Systems and Data Management Officer will be responsible for delivering reliable technical support for all Information

Technology services at CCBRT Moshi, ensuring optimal performance of ICT systems and infrastructure.

The role provides first-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, performs basic system administration, and ensures timely troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain continuity of clinical and operational services.

The position also plays a key role in supporting organizational data management by maintaining structured databases, conducting routine data quality checks, and ensuring accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of data.

The officer will generate timely reports for management and donors, and support monitoring and evaluation processes in line with organizational and regulatory
standards.

Additionally, the role oversees ICT and facility asset inventory, ensures preventive maintenance of systems and equipment, and contributes to risk mitigation and continuous service improvement.

The officer will collaborate closely with the HQ ICT team for escalation of complex issues and support digitalization initiatives to enhance efficiency, accountability, and service quality across
the facility.

The candidate

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data
Management, or related field.

• Professional ICT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Network+, or equivalent) are an added
advantage.

• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in IT support and data management.

• Experience in healthcare, NGO, or development sector.

• Experience in ICT asset or inventory management is an added advantage.

2: Vacancy: Radiologist

The role

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate and timely diagnostic imaging services, supporting clinical decision-making, and enhancing patient care outcomes.

The Radiologist will be responsible for interpreting a wide range of medical images, producing comprehensive reports, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

The role demands a strong commitment to patient safety, adherence to best practices in radiation protection, continuous improvement of imaging quality and service delivery and providing training and support to junior staff members.

The candidate

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) with a Master’s degree in Radiology or equivalent qualification from a
recognized institution.

• Must be fully registered and licensed to practice with the relevant regulatory authority.

• A minimum of four (4) years’ proven experience in a radiology department, demonstrating
progressive responsibility and competence in diagnostic imaging.

• Demonstrated proficiency in performing and interpreting a wide range of imaging modalities,
including X-ray, CT scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Echocardiography, and Mammography, to support
accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

• Proven ability to accurately analyze and interpret medical images, providing timely and reliable
reports that guide clinical decision-making.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Kiswahili and English, with the ability to effectively convey complex medical information to clinicians and patients.

• Strong patient-centered approach with excellent interpersonal skills, ensuring compassionate care
and professional interaction with patients and healthcare teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and commitment to
high standards of diagnostic accuracy.

3: Vacancy: Anesthetists (3 Positions)

The role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Anesthetists to join our clinical team. In this role, you will provide safe, effective, and evidence-based anesthesia and perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical, obstetric, diagnostic, and emergency procedures, in line with national guidelines and professional standards in Tanzania.

The candidate

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Medicine

• Certification or Diploma in Anesthesia / BSc in Nurse Anesthesia

• Registered and licensed with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council or Medical Council of Tanzania

• Valid practicing license

• Strong clinical and decision-making skills

• Ability to work under pressure

• Excellent communication and teamwork

• High level of professionalism and ethical practice

• Attention to detail and patient safety
