1: Key Account Manager

Job Summary

Yas is seeking a results-driven Key Account Manager to manage and grow corporate accounts in Morogoro. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new corporate customers, strengthening existing client relationships, driving revenue growth through cross-selling, achieving customer retention targets, and ensuring effective account management in line with the company’s business objectives.

Core Responsibilities

  • Achieve agreed growth targets from corporate accounts in line with the Business Enterprises business plan.
  • Cross-sell Yas products and services to new and existing customers while promoting high-value offerings in line with the agreed business plan.
  • Develop, implement, and manage account development plans to maximize new business opportunities and repeat sales from assigned accounts.
  • Achieve agreed customer retention targets within the existing corporate account portfolio.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all corporate account sales-related matters and act as the communication channel for customer service-related issues.
  • Ensure all account opening application forms are fully completed, updated, and used for customer activations.
  • Verify all activation forms before account opening.
  • Ensure customer bills are paid in accordance with the company’s credit policy.
  • Identify potential credit risks and advise management promptly to support timely decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in account acquisition and account management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing competitive compensation and benefits programs, managing annual reward cycles, ensuring compliance with labor and tax regulations, conducting market benchmarking, and partnering with business leaders to support organizational growth and workforce performance.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a cohesive Total Rewards philosophy and strategy that supports rapid business growth and diversification.
  • Lead the annual compensation review cycle, including salary reviews, bonuses, and equity programs, ensuring consistency and fairness across operating companies.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to benchmark roles against relevant industries, including Telecommunications, Technology, and FinTech, to maintain competitive positioning.
  • Partner with the Group Compensation & Benefits team and subsidiary companies to model the financial impact of compensation decisions and present recommendations.
  • Oversee the benefits portfolio across multiple companies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and relevance for a diverse workforce.
  • Establish and enforce Compensation and Benefits policies while ensuring compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, reporting requirements, and data integrity standards across all companies.
