We are currently seeking qualified candidate to fill the role of Officer,Infrastructure and Network Administration The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the bank’s MPLS Network  andData centre infrastructure

1: Officer,Infrastructure and Network Administration

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and maintain the Bank’s network and infrastructure environment, including MPLS, VPNs, routing, switching, virtualization, and system integrations.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure, storage, network, and virtualization issues to ensure optimal system performance and availability.

• Implement and coordinate infrastructure changes, system upgrades, and security patch deployments in accordance with established policies and procedures.

• Perform regular infrastructure and information security health checks to ensure the security, integrity, and availability of the Bank’s technology environment.

• Manage data backup processes and support disaster recovery activities to ensure business continuity and resilience.

• Monitor business applications and infrastructure performance to ensure high availability and achievement of agreed service levels.

• Participate in incident management processes, including escalation, root cause analysis, reporting, and implementation of corrective actions.

• Develop and maintain infrastructure, security, and operational documentation in line with enterprise architecture and governance requirements.

Support the implementation and integration of new products and systems, ensuring appropriate risk assessments and mitigation measures are undertaken.

• Participate in Business Continuity Management (BCM) activities, including Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, testing, and maintenance of continuity documentation.

Qualifications,skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field from recognized institution.

• Minimum of three (3) years in network administration, infrastructure management, information security, or telecommunications, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.

Good understanding of Internet Security and Traffic Governance.

• Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems, virtualization technologies (VMware), storage technologies, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure

• Practical experience working with networking and infrastructure solutions from vendors such as Huawei, Cisco, Dell EMC, Sophos, and Microsoft.

Strong technical knowledge of Routing and Switching technologies, including Dynamic Routing Protocols (OSPF and BGP), VPN technologies (IPSec Site-to-Site VPN and DMVPN), Firewalls, VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), and

High Availability concepts.

• Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNA Security, CCNP, JNCP, ITIL, or NetApp Certified Implementation

Engineer (SAN Specialist) will be an added advantage.

2: ICT Risk Officer

We invite suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of ICT Risk Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the bank’s information security, business continuity, and data protection frameworks are effectively implemented, monitored, and compliant with regulatory requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Performing security and resilience risk assessments for projects, systems, and business units.

• Overseeing cybersecurity monitoring and incident management, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and event/incident logs.

• Over all test of ITGCs, i.e Information Technology General Controls.

• Managing user access and privileged accounts across applications, servers, and databases to ensure proper controls.

ICT risk and information security policies including BCM, BCPs, DRP, and related frameworks.

• Ensuring compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act and regulatory requirements, including reporting violations and maintaining registration as a Data Controller/Processor.

• Conducting staff training and awareness programs on cybersecurity, ICT risks, and data protection.

• Coordinating closure of audit and regulatory findings to ensure issues are resolved and do not occur.

• Acting as liaison with regulators and external agencies on ICT risk and compliance matters and normal users.

Qualifications, skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field from a recognized institution.

• Professional qualification in CISA, CRISC, or (CISM) are would an added advantage.

• 2 years’ relevant experience in a highly automated environment

• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office tools
