Full Funded Scholarship In Oman 2026/2027, The Ministry of Education and Vocational Training Zanzibar has received scholarship opportunities for undergraduate studies from the Government of the Sultanate of Oman through the Ministry of Education of Oman under the Omani Program for Cultural and Scientific Cooperation for the academic year 2026/2027.
The Omani Program for Cultural and Scientific Cooperation offers fully funded grants and tuition waived grants provided by Non-government Higher Education Institutions in the Sultanate of Oman for international students at the undergraduate level.
These grants are available to non-resident students from friendly and brotherly countries who have completed a General Education Diploma or its equivalent.

Scholarship Benefits
Full fee-free Grants are offered for undergraduate (bachelor’s) studies, along with a monthly allowance of OMR 200 if student housing is not provided by the educational institution.
In cases where housing is provided, the monthly allowance will be OMR 140. In addition, one round-trip ticket will be provided per academic year.
These Grants are designated for non-resident students from countries targeted by this program.
Accepted students awarded these Grants may choose the educational institution where they wish to pursue their studies.
Students may also select a minor specialization within the bachelor’s degree program.
These Grants do not cover the following majors: Medicine (General/Human), Dentistry, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Sciences, or Education.
The program includes all Non-government Higher Education Institution in the Sultanate of Oman. The system will allow students to choose two universities, and priority will be given to the one listed highest in their preferences.
If placement in the first-choice university is not possible, the student will be automatically considered for the second choice.
The system will also allow students to choose two academic majors, with priority given to the first choice.
If placement in the first major is not feasible, the student will’ automatically be transferred to the second choice, In the event that a student is unable to begin their studies in the first semester of the academic year 2026/2027, they will be enrolled in the second semester of the same academic year.
 Academic Requirements:
The Ministry does not guarantee placement in the applicant’s first choice of university or specialization. The Ministry reserves the right to place the student in any of the listed university choices without prior notice.
The applicant must ensure that the desired specialization is offered by the selected educational institution
The applicant must verify that they meet the admission requirements of the chosen institution and program.
The applicant must check the language of instruction at the selected institution.
The applicant must confirm that the selected institution is recognized in their home country.
The applicant must begin studies in the academic year 2026 / 2027, either in the first or second semester. Postponing the grant to the following academic year is not permitted.
some universities follow an annual admission system, where applications are only accepted for the first semester.

A copy of English language placement test results (if available).

Application Period
The registration period will begin on 15 July 2026 and will end on 15 August 2026.
The embassies of the targeted countries are responsible for registering the nominated students’ data in the electronic system.
The username, password, and registration link will be sent to embassy staff via email before the start of the registration period.
The system will display the number of seats allocated to each country, and embassy staff may register a limited number of students on the waiting list.
