Training Opportunities of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Japan, The Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania in Japan would like to inform you about the online training opportunity for students from high school to doctoral level, offered by the University of Tokyo through its Matsuo-Iwasawa Laboratory.

The training covers Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI), including Python and Machine Learning, as well as the use of data in business.

The training is provided free of charge to qualified participants. Duration of the training: 17 September – 17 December 2026 (approximately three months).

Topics to be taught include Data Science, Python, Machine Learning, data processing and presentation, SQL and the use of Data Science in business. Participants who complete the program requirements will be awarded a certificate.

Qualifications for Applicants:

Students from high school to doctoral level, studying at a recognized educational institution.

The applicant must be a student at the start of the program, have the ability to learn independently and be willing to participate in and complete the training requirements.

Application Procedure:

(i) Register the email address you use at your educational institution; if you do not have an institutional email address or the system does not accept it, use the special option for applicants without such an email address.

(ii) Create an Omnicampus ID using your personal Gmail address and submit a Student ID or other official documents that prove your enrollment.

(iii) After the registration is reviewed and approved, you will receive login information to the Omnicampus system.

(iv) Log in to the system, select “GCI World 2026 September” and complete the application.
