Almuntazir Scholarship 2026-2027, The Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) and Al Muntazir Islamic International Special Needs education in view of their common objective, have reached a mutual understanding to enter into a cooperative arrangement as set out in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate in training in the following recently established programs at MUHAS: Bachelor of Science Audiology, Speech & Language Pathology (BSc. ASLP), Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy (BSc. OT).
Thus, the Al Muntazir Islamic International Special Needs Education will offer four scholarships, two in each program for students to pursue studies in the School of Clinical Medicine, Departments of ENT (for BSc. ASLP) and Psychiatry (for BSc. OT) in this academic year 2026/2027.
The scholarship will cover the following expenses as stipulated in the MUHAS Undergraduate Prospectus;
✓ Tuition fees
✓ Books and Stationaries
✓ NHIF
✓ Meals & Accommodation Allowance
✓ Research Project cost & Special Faculty Requirements.
Therefore, MUHAS invites potential candidates who meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for
the Scholarship.
Eligibility criteria for Al Muntazir Islamic International Special Needs Education Scholarship
applicants: –
1. Enrollment into Bachelor of Science Audiology, Speech & Language Pathology (BSc. ASLP) and Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy (BSc. OT) Programs
2. Possession of admission letters into Bachelor of Science Audiology, Speech & Language Pathology (BSc. ASLP) and Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy (BSc. OT) Programs.
3. A female candidate is highly encouraged.
Other required qualities:
1. The applicant must be creative, hard-working, with good communication skills, and with a genuine
interest in the special needs education sector
2. Should be self-motivated and committed to meeting the expected objectives
3. Should be able to work independently
4. Should be able to organize and act as an effective “Team Leader”
5. Agrees to work with Al Muntazir Islamic International Special Needs education for 5 years without
moving to another institution.

Job Assurance Offer:
Upon successful completion of the academic program and meeting the scholarship conditions, Al
Muntazir Islamic International Special Needs Education agrees to offer the student a position within
the organization and if a job within the organization is not necessary,
Al Muntazir reserves the right to auction the student to another organization including Ibrahim Hajji Hospital, Jaffery Arusha and
Dodoma campus.
The specific job position and terms of employment will be determined at the discretion of the Al Muntazir Islamic International Special Needs education at the time of graduation.
