NMB Bank is one of the largest commercial banks in Tanzania, providing banking services to individuals, small to medium sized corporate clients, government services, large businesses and agriculture lending.

NMB Bank was established under the National Microfinance Bank Limited Incorporation Act of 1997, following the break-up of the old National Bank of Commerce, by an Act of Parliament. Three new entities were created at the time, namely: (a) NBC Holdings Limited (b) National Bank of Commerce (1997) Limited and (c) National Microfinance Bank Limited.

1. Client Service Analyist (1 Position(s))

Job Location : Northern Zone, Clock Tower

Job Purpose:

To provide enhanced Customer Experience through proactive engagements and effective Account Management of Corporate Business under Wholesale Banking. To work closely with Relationship Managers (RMs) as the main business support partner in both retention of clients and business generation through effective analytics, engagements and timely support.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business studies, Hospitality or related fields.

3 years of Service Industry experience with at least 1 year with High Value Clients

Banking experience is added advantage

2. Client Service Analyist (1 Position(s))

Job Location : Dar Es Salaam Zone, Zanzibar

Job Purpose:

To provide enhanced Customer Experience through proactive engagements and effective Account Management of Corporate, Government, Institutional, and Agri-wholesale Banking clients under Wholesale Banking. To work closely with Relationship Managers (RMs) as the main business support partner in both retention of clients and business generation through effective analytics, engagements and timely support.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business studies or related fields

3 years’ experience with at least 1 year with High Value customers in Zanzibar

Candidates must be working in Zanzibar currently, work experience in the banking industry is an added advantage

3. HR Business Partner (1 Position(s))

Job Location : Head Office

Job Purpose:

Act as a strategic partner between HR and the business by delivering people focused solutions that align with organizational strategic goals. Leverages experience, data insights, and agility to support informed decision making, while consulting and coaching leaders to drive execution of the organization strategy, vision and mission.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Social Science or related fields.

Master’s Degree or HR professional certifications will be of an added advantage

A minimum of 4 years’ experience working in different fields of Human Resources i.e. Recruitment, Learning, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Compensation& Benefits etc.

Experience in influencing Senior Management and departmental Heads into the adoption of ultimately beneficial People Management Policies and Procedures is desired.

4. Manager; Operation Transformation & Assurance (1 Position(s))

Job Location : Head Office

Job Purpose:

Responsible for driving enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, strengthening process governance, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the Bank. The role provides strategic and hands-on leadership in identifying, prioritizing, and delivering high-impact transformation programs that improve operational efficiency, control effectiveness, customer experience, and value creation.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in technology, Business administration, Banking, Finance or related fields.

Master’s degree/ Postgraduate education in business studies is an added advantage

Professional certification in Project Management, PMP, Certified Lean Six Sigma Practitioner – Green Belt / Black Belt / Master Black Belt certification, CPA, ACCA or CISA will be an added advantage.

At least 4 years’ experience working with business re-engineering processes, business processing models, Process Design, Data analytics and Project Management in the financial sector or banking industry.

5. Project Manager; Data Management Program (Fixed term – 2 years) (1 Position(s))

Job Location : Head Office, Hq

Job Purpose:

Responsible for leading and overseeing the implementation of data management initiatives within the Bank which aim to address gaps in reaching the required data governance maturity levels.

Qualifications and Experience:

Degree in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
PMI PMP® Certification.

Certification in other recognized project management, agile frameworks and business analysis methodologies e.g., AgilePM; PGMP; PRINCE2; CBAP, Scrum, etc. is an added advantage.

Certification in a data management framework (e.g., DAMA International®), data science, or data analytics is an added advantage.

Possess a strong background in project management and business analysis, with proven practical experience in a dynamic, large corporate environment.

At least 4 years of work expertise in managing significant projects, portfolios, and programs, with leadership experience in medium to large organizations.

6. Relationship Manager; Personal Lending (1 Position(s))

Job Location : Head Office, Hq

Job Purpose:

Manage the end-to-end relationships of Scheme/ Employers with the key focus to provide attractive lending solutions. Also responsible for designing action plans for Personal lending and ensuring smooth execution across the network.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration & or any other business-related fields

Postgraduate education in Banking and/or Banking certification(s) is an added advantage

4 years’ experience in banking operations, out of which 3 should be Relationship management and/or Loan portfolio management

7. Senior Manager; Client Origination (Re-advertised) (1 Position(s))

Job Location : Head Office

Job Purpose:

To supervise Analysts; Client Origination and evaluate counter-party credit risks associated with Wholesale Banking lending business at the client interface, with the primary objective to contain credit risk within the acceptable lending parameters while supporting growth of both assets and off-balance sheet.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance, BCom, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related fields.

Post graduate qualifications such as an MBA/ACCA/CPA will be an added advantage

At least 5 years’ experience in credit appraisal from Banking and/or Financial Services with leadership experience in medium to large organizations.

8. Senior Specialist Talent Acquisition (1 Position(s))

Job Location : Head Office

Job Purpose:

To implement end to end Talent Acquisition strategy to a portfolio of business units, providing guidance on the talent acquisition policy and procedures, attracting talent in line with job requirements and organizational objectives and managing headcounts in line with business plans

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Social Science or related fields.

Master’s Degree or HR professional certifications will be of an added advantage

A minimum of 4 years’ working experience in Human Resources Management as a Recruiter or HR Business Partner in a large or medium size organization.

9. Senior Stakeholder Engagement & Employer Branding Manager (1 Position(s))

Job Location : Head Office

Job Purpose:

Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives that position the bank as an Employer of choice by promoting its values, culture, and mission. It also drives stakeholder engagement and employer branding strategies that attract, engage, and retain top Talent, ensuring alignment with the bank’s overall Talent Management objectives. The role champions innovative approaches to enhance employee experience and strengthen the bank’s reputation in the talent market.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree preferably in Mass Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or related fields.

Master’s degree in business studies is an added advantage.

Postgraduate education in Banking and/or Banking certification(s) is an added advantage

A minimum of 4 years’ experience with a proven track record in Stakeholders Engagements and Corporate Communications
