Job Vacancies at Mpwapwa District Council August 2026, The Executive Director of Mpwapwa District Council invites applications from qualified Tanzanians to fill the 6 positions as specified in this advertisement;
1.0 DRIVER II – Position 4
1.1 MAIN DUTIES
i. Inspecting the vehicle before and after the trip to determine the safety status of the vehicle;
ii. Taking employees to various locations on business trips;
iii. Carrying out minor vehicle repairs;
iv. Filling and maintaining all trip information in the trip log;
v. Collecting and distributing various documents; and
vi. Cleaning the vehicle;
1.2 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
Employees must have a Form IV certificate and a Class E or C driving license that they have worked for at least one (1) year without causing an accident, along with training certificates that qualified them to obtain the relevant classes.
Must have attended a Basic Driving Course provided by VETA College or another College recognized by the Government.
1.3 SALARY LEVEL TGS B
2.0 RECORDS MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT II – Position 2
2.1 MAIN DUTIES
i. Register incoming correspondence register
ii. Register outgoing correspondence register
iii. Distribute files to action officers
iv. Receive files to action officers
v. Receive files returned to the registry from the executive officers
vi. Returning files to racks/filling cabinets or other storage locations.
2.2 QUALIFICATION OF THEÂ APPLICANT:
To be employed by a person who has completed Form IV or VI Education, who has a Diploma (NTA level 6) in the field of Records Management from a Government recognized Institution, and who is proficient in Computer.
2.3 SALARY LEVEL TGS C
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
1. All applicants must be citizens of the United Republic of Tanzania and not exceed 45 years of age.
However, for positions within the Military Institutions:Â Applicants for non-degree positions must not exceed 25 years of age.
Applicants for degree positions must not exceed 30 years of age.
2. Applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply and should indicate their disability on the application form for the information of the Secretariat of Public Service Employment.
3. All applicants should attach a birth certificate certified by a Lawyer/Attorney.

5. All applications should be accompanied by professional certificates, descriptions, copies of certificates certified by a Lawyer/Attorney which are birth certificates, certificates of completion of various courses based on the qualifications of the relevant job: –
Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma/Certificates.

6. “Testmonials”, “Provisional Results”, “Statement of results”, Form IV and Form VI results slips will NOT be accepted.
7. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania should ensure that their certificates have been verified and approved by the relevant Authorities (TCU, NECTA and NACTVET). For applicants for cadres requiring ‘GPA’ who studied outside Tanzania, they should attach a ‘GPA’ calculation certificate from TCU.
8. Applicants who have retired from the Public Service are not allowed to apply unless they have the approval of the Principal Secretary.
9. Submission of false information and qualifications will be subject to legal action.
