In February 2007, The School of Fountain Gate Academy was opened with four teachers and a handful of sponsored students. The school was Fountain Gate academy pre and primary school, Tabata Dar es Salaam.

Today, The School of fountain Gate academy, a pioneering leader in education in Tanzania, has over 6000 students nationwide. We provide intensive, quality education to more than 6000 bright pre/primary/secondary and high school students who come from different backgrounds and ethnicities.

We provide them with everything they need for a successful education, ensuring our students’ well-being and future success.

We have schools in Dar es Salaam, Morogoro, Dodoma and Mwanza Lake regions. We provide employment for over 500 Tanzanians and other nationals.

90% of Fountain Gate secondary/ high school graduates go on to access higher education, supported by the Fountain Gate Foundation or by other means. Our strength is with sports, which we take seriously, and talent development.

The Director of Fountain gate academy is Mr. Japhet Mboto Makau, whose vision and the dream behind it is extraordinary.

Fountain Gate academy is an institution and a pioneering leader in raising Tanzanian boys and girls in the areas of academic and talent development based on three major pillars: knowledge, wisdom and talents.

The three pillars appear in the school Motto – “The Fountain of Knowledge, Wisdom & Talents”.

The University of Dodoma in collaboration with Fountain Gate Schools is pleased to announce teaching opportunities for graduates from UDOM.

The Subjects Required:

  • Science teachers (Mathematics and Physics)
  • Business subjects (especially Accounting and Book-keeping)
  • Fine and Performing Arts
  • Music
  • Media (Production, Graphics, and Journalism)
  •  Arts subjects teachers

Program Details:

Successful applicants will join an internship program, with the possibility of future employment within the schools.

Applicant Qualifications:

Must be a graduate from the University of Dodoma (UDOM)

Must hold a degree in Education from the College of Education (COED) or the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS)

Interns will receive an allowance and accommodation.

Application Dates: From 26th to 30th, April, 2026
