23 Teaching Vacancies at Ellen White School – Dodoma July 2026, The Office of the Manager of Ellen White School – Dodoma, wishes to advertise (23) vacancies for various cadres to enhance its performance. All qualified and capable Tanzanians are invited to apply to fill the vacancies as outlined below:-

1.0 PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS GRADE I A – 6 Vacancies

1.1 JOB DUTIES

(i) Prepare job descriptions, lesson plans, lesson notes and Work Plan for assigned tasks;

(ii) Develop and implement teaching and learning tools;

(iii) Teach, assess and maintain records of students’ progress;

(iv) Supervise and monitor student attendance in the School and Classroom;

(v) ​​Supervise students’ mental, physical and spiritual development and provide advice

(vi) counseling and guidance;

(vii) Provide professional and academic advice on educational development;

(viii) Supervise the maintenance of school equipment and property;

(ix) Other duties assigned by the Head of School according to the responsibilities of the School.

1.2 QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANT

(i) Graduates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching who teach Science or Mathematics.

(ii) Graduates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching who teach Kiswahili or English.

(iii) Graduates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching who teach Tanzanian History and Ethics, Geography and Environment or Work Skills.

(iv) Those who are able to teach subjects using the English language effectively and have at least three (3) years of teaching experience in a recognized school will be given priority.

1.3 SALARY LEVEL

EWSS-A STARTING FROM TZS 800,000.

2.0 PRIMARY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS GRADE IIB – 10 Positions

2.1 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

(x) Prepare job descriptions, lesson plans, lesson notes and Work Plans for assigned tasks;

(xi) Develop and implement teaching and learning tools;

(xii) Teach, assess and maintain records of students’ progress;

(xiii) Supervise and monitor student attendance in the School and Classroom;

(xiv) Supervise students’ mental, physical and spiritual development and provide advice

(xv) counseling and guidance;

(xvi) Provide professional and academic advice on educational development;

(xvii) Supervise the maintenance of school equipment and property;

(xviii) Other duties assigned by the Head of School according to the responsibilities of the School.

2.2 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT

The employee must have a Diploma in Early Childhood or Primary Education from a recognized institution. In addition, those who are able to teach subjects using the English language effectively and have at least two years of teaching experience in a recognized school will be given priority.

2.3 SALARY LEVEL

EWSS-B STARTING FROM TZS 501,000.

3.0 TRANSPORT OFFICER GRADE IIB – Position 1

3.1 JOB DUTIES

(i) Plan and coordinate school bus schedules effectively.

(ii) Prepare transport operating costs to assist in decision making.

(iii) Ensure that data and records relating to transport vehicles are maintained properly and accurately.

(iv) Conduct daily inspections of school vehicles and equipment and provide reports

(v) Prepare reports, estimates and repair requirements for vehicles and equipment

(vi) Perform other duties related to transportation.

(vii) Manage fuel consumption including filling of fuel logbook (logbook)

3.2 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT

(i) An applicant with a Degree or Diploma in Transportation, Vehicle Management, or Transportation Affairs. In addition, an applicant with at least two years of experience in the transportation sector or an institution that owns vehicles will be given priority.

(ii) A driver’s license class C will be given priority.

3.3 SALARY LEVEL

EWSS-B STARTING FROM TZS 501,000.

4.0 OFFICE EXECUTIVE CLASS II B – Position 2

4.1 JOB DUTIES

(i) Typing, examinations, letters, reports and regular and confidential documents.

(ii) Maintaining records of events, appointments, dates of meetings and trips.

(iii) Receiving visitors and listening to their problems and directing them to where they can be helped.

(iv) Receiving files and distributing them to the heads of Departments/Units or relevant sections.

(v) Receiving, searching for documents required in the implementation of job duties.

(vi) Collecting, maintaining and returning documents and documents to the relevant parties.

(vii) Making a list of office equipment requirements; and other tasks assigned to him/her.

4.2 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT

To be employed, the applicant must be a Form Four graduate with a Diploma in Education. In addition, he/she must have passed the subject of Swahili and English 100 words per minute and have received training in office computer programs such as: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet, E-mail and Publisher from a college recognized by the Government.

4.3 SALARY LEVEL

EWSS-B STARTING FROM TZS 501,000.

5.0 CLASS IIB DRIVER – Position 4

5.1 JOB DUTIES

(i) Pick up students from school and return them to their drop-off points.

(ii) Take employees outside the work center for external work.

(iii) Inspect the vehicle before and after the trip to determine the safety condition of the vehicle.

(iv) Perform minor vehicle cleaning and maintenance.

(v) Collect and distribute various documents.

(vi) Fill in and maintain all trip information in the “logbook” for all trips.

(vii) Perform other duties as directed by his/her Supervisor.

5.2 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT

To be employed, the applicant must be:-

(i) Has completed at least Primary Education (Class Seven) or Form Four.

(ii) Have a valid Class C, and C1 license with at least two years of experience without causing an accident.

(iii) Graduated in Passenger Vehicle Driving (PSV) from VETA, NIT or a government recognized college. Preference will be given to applicants with a Class II Technical Test Certificate.

5.3 SALARY LEVEL

EWOS-B STARTING FROM TZS 400,000.

6.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

(i) All applicants should submit hand-written application letters in English.

Must be a Tanzanian Citizen aged between 18 years and not exceeding 50 years.

(ii) All applicants should attach a detailed Curriculum Vitae with valid address, contact telephone numbers and
E-mail address along with the names of three reliable referees.

(iii) All applicants should attach copies of professional certificates relevant to the position. Along with a copy of NIDA ID.

(iv) Applicants who studied abroad should ensure that their certificates are verified and certified by the relevant Authorities (TCU, NECTA and NACTE).

(v) One recent passport-sized colour photograph.
