Job Vacancies at Mbulu Town Council August 2026, The Mbulu Town Manager invites qualified Tanzanians to apply for seven (07) positions in this Council after obtaining approval from the Office of the President, Public Service Management and Good Governance with the following breakdown:
1.0 DRIVER CLASS II – POSITION 02
1.1.1 JOB DUTIES
i. Inspecting the vehicle before and after the trip to determine the safety status of the vehicle,
ii. Sending employees to various locations on business trips,
iii. Performing minor vehicle maintenance,
iv. Maintaining and writing a log book for all trips,
v. Collecting and distributing various documents
vi. Cleaning the vehicle,
vii. Performing other duties as directed by his/her Supervisor.
1.1.2 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
To be employed with a Form IV certificate and a Class E or C driving license, which they have worked for not less than one (1) year without causing an accident, along with training certificates that have qualified them for the relevant classes.
They must have attended the Basic Driving Course provided by the VETA College or another College recognized by the Government
1.1.3 SALARY LEVEL TGS B
2.0 OFFICE EXECUTIVE CLASS II – POSITION 05
2.1.1 JOB DUTIES
i. Typing letters, reports and ordinary and confidential documents
ii. Receiving Guests and asking about their problems, and directing them to the place where they can be addressed.
iii. Maintaining records of events, appointments, guests, dates of meetings, trips of the Head and other work schedules
iv. Search for files and documents required for the performance of work duties
v. Receive files and distribute them to Officers in the Department/Unit/Relevant Section
vi. Collect, maintain and return files and documents to the relevant sections
vii. Organize extracts and make preparations for various meetings
viii. Prepare a list of office equipment requirements
3.1.2 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
To be employed with a Form Four or Six Education with a Diploma in Accounting or an NTA Level 6 Certificate in Accounting.
In addition, they should have passed the subject of Swahili and English Typing 100 words per minute and have access to Office computer programs such as; Word Excel, Powerpoint, Internet, Email and Publisher from any institution recognized by the Government.
3.1.3 SALARY LEVEL TGS C
GENERAL CONDITIONS
i. All applicants should be Tanzanian citizens not exceeding 45 years of age.
ii. Applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply and should indicate their disability in the application form for the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat.
iii. Applicants should attach a detailed CV with a working address, contact telephone numbers and e-mail address along with the names of three reliable referees.
iv. All applications should be accompanied by educational and professional certificates certified by a Lawyer/Attorney which are Form Four or Form Six certificates for those who have reached that level and various training certificates based on the qualifications of the relevant job.
Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma/Certificate – Form Four and Six Examination Certificate, Computer Certificate, – Professional Certificate from Respective Boards.
v. Candidates who submit Testimonials, Provisional Results, Statement of Results, Form IV and VI results slips (form V and form VI results slips) WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PROCEED WITH THE INTERVIEW.
vi. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania should ensure that their certificates are verified and certified by the relevant Authorities (TCU, NECTA and NACTVET).
vii. Applicants who have retired from the Public Service are not allowed to apply unless they have the approval of the Principal Secretary.
viii. Applicants for Driver II cadre with Class E or C licenses should ATTACH Driver training certificates that qualified them to obtain the relevant classes.
ix. Applicants who are already employed in entry-level positions in the Public Service should not apply and should adhere to the instructions contained in Circular No. CAC. 45/257/01/D/140 dated 30th November,
2010.
x. Applicants who submit false information and qualifications will be subject to legal action.
xi. Candidates whose names differ in their documents should submit a Deed Poll registered by the Ministry of Lands.
