1: Business Analyst -Strategy & Transformation

Job Description

Provide dedicated analytical, reporting, and project coordination support directly to the CEO across all strategic and operational priorities.

Prepare board papers, Executive Committee materials, investor updates, and CEO presentations, complete with supporting data, analysis, and clear recommendations.

Track progress and prepare periodic status reports for all major ongoing projects, including the Tier 1 Microfinance Bank license application, the Fintech Farm digital banking partnership, LMS/CBS implementation, and branch expansion projects in Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Mwanza, and other locations.

Build and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis, including three-year projections, stress testing, and sensitivity analyses for new products, partnerships, and capital planning initiatives.

Conduct comparative ratio analyses and competitive benchmarking against peer institutions, including Tier 1 and Tier 2 Microfinance Banks across Tanzania and East Africa.

Prepare budget-versus-actual variance reports, portfolio quality reports (including delinquency, provisioning, debtor ageing, and PAR), as well as monthly management dashboards for the CEO and Executive Committee.

Prepare regulatory and internal compliance reports, including IFRS 9 ECL model outputs, BOT returns, PDPA 2022 compliance tracking, AML/CFT monitoring summaries, and capital adequacy assessments.

Conduct market research and feasibility studies, and prepare comprehensive business cases for new products and propositions, including savings instruments, credit cards, BNPL solutions, payment services, and digital banking offerings.

Support the CEO in BOT regulatory engagements by preparing position papers, impact assessments, and application dossiers for the Tier 1 MFB license, BOT Fintech Regulatory Sandbox participation, and payment instrument approvals under the NPS Act.

Translate complex business requirements from Credit, Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and IT into structured documentation, functional specifications, process maps, and acceptance criteria.

Act as the central point of coordination for CEO-priority cross-functional initiatives by driving deliverables, following up with stakeholders, tracking action items, and ensuring timely closure.

Support vendor evaluation processes, conduct RFP analyses, and provide commercial negotiation inputs for strategic partnerships.

Analyze portfolio performance, customer segmentation, credit risk trends, disbursement and collection patterns, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to the CEO and business owners.

Deliver ad hoc analyses on matters requiring urgent executive decisions, including pricing, product changes, partnership structures, capital allocation, and regulatory responses.

Maintain a structured, audit-ready repository of analyses, models, presentations, and reports prepared for the CEO, ensuring institutional memory and data integrity.

Support investor relations activities, due diligence responses, and shareholder information requests under strict confidentiality, while exercising discretion and commercial sensitivity at all times.

2: Export Documentation Clerk

Job Description

• Collect payment receipts and maintain proper filing records.

• Provide documents for EFD issuance and sales booking to the respective units, and follow up accordingly.

• Follow up on and maintain records of TRA assessments and EFD receipts.

• Communicate with shipping lines and other relevant authorities, and arrange export documentation.

• Prepare export documentation for sea shipments.

• Follow up on original shipment documents.

• Prepare document sets and scan final documents for record keeping.

• Prepare bank negotiation documents.

• Arrange dispatch of documents to the concerned units and overseas customers.

• Prepare border documentation files for road consignments whenever necessary.

• Assist other staff members with their work during their absence.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the superior.

3: CCTV Security Supervisor

Job Description

Install CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related equipment.

Coordinate with all units frequently and ensure all systems are in proper running condition.

Identify faults in CCTV and related security systems.

Troubleshoot camera, recorder, cabling, and network issues.

Configure IP cameras and remote viewing randomly.

Handle cabling and basic system setup & trouble shooting.

Coordinate with vendors / Security authorities or higher authorities for issue resolution whenever required.

Maintaining AMC and ensure PMC is done periodically.

Follow up until the issue is fully resolved.

Attend complaints and resolve issues on time.

Keep Assets records of devices and service work.

Support access control, biometric, and intercom systems.

5: Credit Manager

Job Description

Responsible for the review and approval of commercial credit proposals, Credit assessment and credit worthiness of the customer.

Meet with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the process.

Obtain and compile copies of loan applicants’ credit histories, corporate financial statements, and other financial information.

File Verification in terms of established credit guidelines, process and approval, maintain a good balance between returns and risks exposure,

Review loan agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to policy.

Stay abreast of new types of loans and other financial services and products to better meet customers’ needs.

Handle customer complaints and take appropriate action to resolve them.

Market financial products to individuals and firms, promoting AFCL services that may meet customers’ needs.

Updating and submitting monthly data to credit bureau as per banking regulations, updating and preparing daily reports.

Ensure all regular monthly reporting is generated for management review.

6: Loan Recovery Officer

Job Description

Vehicle Recovery: Locate and recover vehicles from customers who have defaulted on their loan payments and work in shifts as required.

Critical Response: Remain vigilant and respond immediately and appropriately to any threat alerts, taking the necessary action on the ground.

Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations to determine the location of vehicles, which may include surveillance, interviews, and the review of public records.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all recovery activities, including dates, times, locations of recovered vehicles, and interactions with customers.

Compliance: Ensure all recovery and repossession activities are carried out in accordance with company policies, compliance requirements, and applicable laws and regulations.

Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, explaining the recovery process and their rights.

Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols to ensure the well-being of team members and the public during recovery and repossession activities.

Loan Recovery: Perform assigned duties related to the collection and recovery of outstanding loan amounts and support Accounts Receivable collection efforts.

Bad Debt Recovery: Negotiate repayment plans and settlements with debtors and implement effective strategies to recover potential bad debts and loss amounts.

Restructuring: Prepare restructuring proposals for approval and assist in their implementation before a client becomes more than 90 days past due.

Repossessed Asset Management: Coordinate effectively with legal resources, repossession agencies, and asset resale channels to ensure timely recovery and disposal of repossessed assets. Ensure that Letters of Demand and Repossession Notices are issued promptly and that the repossession process is conducted in accordance with established procedures and company policies.

External Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain effective relationships with external partners, including collection agencies, repossession agents, and legal firms.
