1. Position: Marketing Specialist
Position Details
Remote, Work from Home with one visit to Arusha, Tanzania Head Office per year (1 – 3 Months)

You’re a collaborative marketing specialist with proven experience in delivering successful campaigns that engage, inspire and raise funds.
You have a strong understanding of digital platforms, enjoy analysing campaign performance and continuously look for ways to improve results.
You’re an exceptional communicator, with a flair for turning complex ideas into clear, compelling messages.
You understand brand and language strategy and enjoy helping others bring it to life consistently across platforms.
You go to sleep at night dreaming about big-picture strategies, seamless supporter journeys and new ways to reach a global audience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of global marketing strategies that grow awareness, attract new supporters and increase fundraising outcomes.
Set the direction for digital and content marketing — guiding the approach across social media, paid advertising, email, SEO and supporter journeys.
Shape and protect the school’s brand and communications style, ensuring consistency across teams, platforms and international audiences.
Provide strategic oversight to the Tanzania-based Marketing team, mentoring team members, supporting goal setting and strengthening systems and processes.
Use data, research and analytics to evaluate performance, inform decision-making and continuously improve campaigns, platforms and supporter engagement.
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
At least five years of experience in marketing or communications, with a focus on strategy, digital campaigns and content development.
Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to connect long-term goals with day-to-day marketing decisions.
Outstanding written and verbal communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to write and edit content across a variety of channels.
Strong understanding of various digital marketing channels such as social media, SEO, and email marketing.
Proven ability to contribute to a cohesive team environment by sharing information, supporting team priorities and ensuring open communication.
Experience using Google Analytics and Meta Ads Manager, collecting, and reporting on digital data.
Ability to work collaboratively with International and Tanzanian staff to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Confidence using data and insights to evaluate performance, guide decision-making and improve results over time.
The ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with international teams in a remote environment.

What you’ll do
- Serving as the second point of contact for IT support within the organization
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware, software and network systems
- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve IT- related issues promptly
- Collaborate with the internal teams to implement IT projects and upgrades
- Monitor and maintain IT security systems and measures
- Assist in planning and implementing IT infrastructure improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Foster positive working relationships with the team members and stakeholders.
- Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as project deadlines and quality standards
- Plan and implement strategies to achieve project objectives efficiently

What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 – 3 years’ experience in IT support or a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Operating Systems, Linux, Networking Protocols and Troubleshooting, Report Writing, Hardware Troubleshooting, and IT security principles and frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and outside-the-box thinker
- Demonstrates ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to professionalism and confidentiality
- Has a strong passion for technology.
- Has a strong Networking; Computer Software and Hardware Troubleshooting Skills.
