Job Description:
The Director General of Tanzania Cashew Board invites applications for temporary employment from qualified and capable Tanzanians to fill 5 driver positions
(for Contract employment) as specified in this advertisement
Responsibilities:
Inspecting the vehicle before and after the trip to determine the safety condition of the vehicle;
Employees to various locations on business trips;
Carrying out minor vehicle maintenance;
Filling and maintaining all trip information in the trip log;
Collecting and distributing various documents; and
Carrying out vehicle cleaning.
Applicant Qualifications:
Must have a Form IV education or above;
Must have a Class E or C driving license which he/she has worked for not less than one (1) year without causing an accident;
Training certificates that qualified him/her to obtain the relevant classes; and
Must have attended a Basic Driving Course provided by VETA College or another recognized by the
Government.
Must not be more than 45 years of age
Must be a citizen of Tanzania.
Contract Period:
This position is for a one (1) year contract with the possibility of extension based on performance and need.
