20 Job Vacancies at Huruma Hospital August 2026, Founded in 1968 as a private hospital, Huruma Hospital was designated the District Designated Hospital (DDH) for Rombo District in 1972. Since July 2021, it has operated as a Voluntary Agency Hospital owned by the Catholic Diocese of Moshi and managed under the leadership of the Sisters of Our Lady of Kilimanjaro (CDNK).

Today, we are Rombo District’s largest hospital — a 250-bed institution with 200 healthcare professionals, serving a catchment population of over 275,000 people while working toward Regional Referral Hospital status by 2027.

The Medical Officer In-Charge of Huruma Hospital, located in Rombo District, Kilimanjaro Region, wishes to announce 20 job vacancies as follows:

1. NURSING OFFICER GRADE II (NO) – 05 POSITIONS

a) Qualifications

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a Government-recognized institution, be registered with the Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council, and have at least three years of working experience.

2. ASSISTANT NURSING OFFICER GRADE II (ANO) – 10 POSITIONS

c) Qualifications

Applicants must have a Diploma in Nursing from a Government-recognized institution, be registered with the Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council, and have at least three years of working experience.

3. NURSE GRADE II (EN) – 05 POSITIONS

d) Qualifications

Applicants must have a Certificate in Nursing from a Government-recognized institution, be registered with the Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council, and have at least three years of working experience.

e) Duties and Responsibilities of Nursing Officers (NO), Assistant Nursing Officers (ANO), and Nurses (EN) include:

i. Providing nursing care services.

ii. Educating patients and the community about their health conditions.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

i. Must be a Tanzanian citizen.

ii. Must possess complete certificates of the relevant training, including Form IV, Form VI, professional certificates, full registration, or a valid practicing license.

iii. Must have a National Identification Number (NIDA).

iv. Must have a Curriculum Vitae (CV).

v. Must have a copy of the Birth Certificate.
