Full Funded Sholarship in Monash University Australia February 2027 Intake, The Internationalization and Convocation Unit is pleased to inform MUHAS staff, alumni, and other eligible applicants of the opportunity to apply for the Monash University Centre for Health Economics (CHE) Integrated PhD Programme for the February 2027 intake.

MONASH UNIVERSITY AUSTRALIA FULLY FUNDED INTEGRATED PhD SCHOLARSHIPS
IN HEALTH ECONOMICS FOR 2027 INTAKE

The fully funded 4.5-year programme is offered by Monash Business School in Melbourne, Australia, and provides advanced training in health economics through an integrated Master of Commerce (MCom) and
PhD pathway.

The programme aims to develop future researchers and leaders capable of producing high-impact research that informs health policy and improves health systems globally.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

I. Hold an Honours degree, a four-year Bachelor’s degree, or a Master’s degree with excellent
academic results, preferably including a research component.

II. Have an academic background in a relevant discipline such as health economics, economics,
econometrics, labour economics, public health, data science, mathematical statistics, actuarial
science, psychology (with strong statistical training), or other quantitative fields.

III. Meet the academic admission requirements and English language proficiency requirements of
Monash University.

IV. Demonstrate strong research potential and meet the progression requirements for the Integrated
PhD Programme.

Scholarship Benefits

I. Full tuition fee scholarship.

II. Tax-free living stipend of AUS37,000 per year, with scholarships of up to AUS47,000 per
year available for outstanding applicants.

III. Funded domestic and international conference participation.

IV. Opportunities for international research visits.

V. Dedicated office workspace and a personal laptop throughout the programme.

VI. Additional financial support through research and teaching assistant opportunities (subject to
availability).

Applications are now open for the February 2027 intake and will close on 31 August 2026.
