Position:Â Medical Doctor (2 Posts)
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Examine, diagnose, and manage patients with various medical conditions.
Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans according to national clinical guidelines.
Admit, review, and discharge patients as required.
Perform emergency medical procedures and provide life-saving interventions when necessary.
Refer patients to specialists or higher-level facilities when appropriate.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
Participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and emergency services.
Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment, and healthy lifestyle practices.
Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Adhere to professional ethics, hospital policies, and standards of medical practice.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine from a recognized institution.
Registered by the Medical Council of Tanganyika (MCT) with a valid practicing licence.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in medicine.
